At Karunashray Samajik Seva Kendra (KSSK), our heart lies in the villages — among the women, children, and families who inspire us every day. We believe that real change begins when people come together, share their voices, and work hand-in-hand for a better tomorrow.

Our work touches many areas of rural life: empowering communities to stand for their rights, helping families earn a steady livelihood, promoting health and hygiene, ensuring children have access to education, and guiding local leaders to build a fair and transparent system of governance. Above all, we focus on those who are often left behind — women, children, and the differently-abled from the poorest backgrounds.

We bring people together through Self-Help Groups, train young leaders, connect communities to government support, and create opportunities for sustainable income so families can live with dignity without having to migrate far from home. Whether it’s a lively street play, a health awareness rally, or a skills workshop, each activity carries one message: you are not alone in your journey.

Today, KSSK reaches 55,709 people across 30 villages, building hope and resilience one family at a time. Every number represents a story — a mother who can now provide for her children, a girl returning to school, a village leader standing up for justice. Together, we are sowing the seeds of change that will bloom for generations to come.
